A Stainless Steel bowl that is needed for WMSTR food preparation is missing from the Church Kitchen. If you find yourself with an extra bowl at home, please return it to the Church Kitchen as soon as possible.

As our congregation begins to develop a budget for next year, we have the good news that church offerings are not fund raising rituals, but acts of worship to express our devotion to the God who is so good to us. Giving is a natural expression of love. Friends do it, parents do it, we give presents to those we love, and God gives to us because he loves us. Whenever we give our offering to God as an act of worship, we love God back. Being faithful in stewardship means putting our faith into action.
The Rollag church by-laws list the mission of stewardship is to “promote grateful proportionate giving in response to the blessings received.” Duties include working with church committees and council on the budget, update Time and Talents, encouraging church attendance and use of monthly duties calendar.
Please review the attached Time, Talent and Gifts survey and return to the church with your response to Celebrate, Share and Show God’s love. You can take the survey online using the Church website or complete the survey and either return it to the parish office or place it in the offering plate. These surveys will aid the various committees in the great work that they do.
We are excited to work with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in doing God’s Work – Our Hands.

A Rollag Church Council Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday November 18th.
The Executive Meeting will start at 6:30 PM.
The larger meeting with all committees will start at 7:00PM.
Intern (aka MR) Keith and Michelle are having an Open House on Friday Oct 23rd from 4pm-8pm with soups and snacks. It is a time to visit and have conversations. It would be great to see you.
If anyone is looking for a way to remember or honor family or friends, we currently have two projects we are trying to fund:
- Sound system-We have received a start for this fund from a family remembering their parents. If you would like to donate, please make your check out to Rollag Lutheran Church, mark “Sound System” on the memo line and send to the church.
- Cemetery Columbarium-We have received a donation to start a fund to build a columbarium in the cemetery. This marble structure would hold the cremains of those that choose to be cremated. Since we have about 80 lots in the current cemetery that are not spoken for, building this columbarium would extend the time before the cemetery is filled. If you would like to donate, please make your check out to Rollag Lutheran Church, mark “Columbarium” on the memo line and send to the church.
Thank you for your support of our projects here at Rollag Lutheran Church.
